I have not seen the original film nor the book, therefore I have nothing to compare the movie to. I had no idea what to expect, but I liked what I found.
There was no disappointment with the cast, the actors made the movie flow nicely. The movie was a bit fast paced, not letting you get too attached to the characters. There wasn't anything deep or scary about it. I liked the fact that the film came off light and comical. My favorite thing about the entire movie is how quirky it was while brushing it off with comedy. It was a very unusual story, but I think that's what makes it so interesting. The only thing I really did not enjoy about the movie is how the main message seemed to be "Woman are superior to men". To me that is just being sexiest against men, what happened to equality and gender does not matter? Even though the film had the theme of "woman rule" it was still funny and entertaining to watch.
