Big Sky (2020–2023)
9/10
What the hellp happened to David E. Kelley?
15 April 2021
'Nother update: I can't believe this show is getting ANY 9s & 10s. It is by far the worst show in the history of television! BUT I'M BAAACK! My wife bailed, indicating which of us has more sense.

I just had to see what another season might bring. (Okay, just 1 more episode.) I've never been one to ogle car wrecks or house fires or natural disasters; But, everything about this show is so bad I can't stop watching. I know. Makes no sense. When I saw the end of the first episode of season 2 I laughed my butt off and it hit me. I realized how much pleasure can be derived watching a blazing dumpster fire. Yeah, they're not pretty and they smell awful; But once you get the bug, it ain't easy to quit. It's kinda like smoking. I may take to listening to a police scanner to see where the catastrophes are happening.

Update: So, I've had to lower my rating AGAIN! It just keeps getting stoopiter & stoopiter. By the time it's over it will be a 0. We must be masochists. Please cancel this show so we can go on with our lives.

I'm being kind giving this show a 7. It's only because, for some inexplicable reason, my wife and I are still watching and I said I don't bother watching anything less than a 7. We're close to that point.

The show was lame from the start with so many incomprehensible actions and decisions by the characters. I can't count the times we both said "really? That happens." But, we stuck with it, because... it's David E. Kelley. It's going to get better, right?

Unfortunately, with this second season within a season, it's gotten pretty stupider. Oh, maybe they're trying for comedy? That's too bad. They missed. I'm not sure we'll make it to the end. I'm pretty sure if it comes back for a second season it shouldn't and we won't.

Addendum: The way I rate shows... I don't usually review anything less than a 7 because 6 would be a failing grade and I won't waste my time watching it. I'm old; I don't know how much time I've got left. Since I probably turned it off before getting even halfway through, it wouldn't be fair to rate or review it.

7 is watchable but I may go a while between episodes since, though somewhat entertaining, there are other shows more interesting or compelling.

8 would be a regular in my lineup.

9 is a must see and probably bingeable.

10 is just the epitome of superbity and headed for my all-time favorites list.

I'm adding this to my reviews because it seems there are a lot of binary reactions to pretty much everything these days. I am not a like/unlike kind of guy. I see a lot of grays so if I give something a 10 it doesn't mean the only alternative is a 1.
