A meaningful story that guides young people to the right path

I really don't understand why this series is earning a lot of hate, because having watched it myself, I would really say that is a beautiful coloring story that illustrates the importance of family and the social media consumption. For example, FUNDOM, the main location where Bia and her friends usually hang out, allows you to express yourself through videos and fun challenges without staying too focused on likes and comments from followers. On the other hand, LAIX is a bittersweet environment where you happen to be too far from making your own decisions when it comes to shooting a video. The CEO, Marcos Golden, is only interested in money and fame and he will do anything to get what he wants no matter who ends up losing. Basically in LAIX everyone does as they're told, no exceptions. Jandino wanted to leave LAIX but Marcos stated that he had a contract to adhere to and that doing so would damage his career. Can you really believe that he just bullied and threatened a celebrity? My recommendation: if you have to choose between FUNDOM and LAIX, choose FUNDOM. You'll have much more fun there rather than wanting to boost you career, which would only end before it can even get started.

Furthermore, FUNDOM started a solidarity campaign by the name of BeU, in favor of a powerful inspiring speech Daisy gave at FestiRitmo about accepting oneself just as they are. This happened on account of her finding out that in FestiRitmo they only chose her for being overweight and not because of her dancing abilities since Daisy has loved dancing ever since she was a kid. Another important topic is cyberbullying, which happened to Pixie, who is a technology expert and the person in charge of FUNDOM. Online users had always mocked her for her boy-like clothes and appearance, even using the #IsaBoy, which is a derivation of her real name, Isabel. Because of that, Pixie closed her channel and refused to share her situation, out of fear of being judged. However, her friends were there for her and supported her through the process.

Another important fact is the beautiful sister bond between Bia and Helena. The two are very fond of each other and love singing and playing music, even in their bad days. Since day one, Helena took the sister role very seriously and that proved to be enough for Bia to love her back. The same happens to Manuel and Victor, who are also stepbrothers (initially thought to be cousins). Unlike the rest of his family, who blame Helena for the accident and thus refuse to forgive her and her family for all the damage, Manuel is the only who understands him and is there for him when he needs him the most. They trust and tell each other everything about their feelings and problems regarding their love lives, especially Manuel, who loves Bia very much, in spite of their families' disapproval and Alex trying to get in the middle of their romance, not to mention Paula's unfair hatred for Manuel, whom she looks down upon sees as a 'nobody'. At least he never yells at and nor does he argue with Paula, even when she treats him very harshly. And speaking of love, this cannot be ruled out: Binuel. That's the name of the love pairing between Bia and Manuel who bond over their love towards music and the losses of their respective siblings. Their relationship sometimes had its ups and downs, but that made their love become stronger than their families' spite for each other.

Also, I really loved the evolution Carmín had during the show. She used to be a self-centered, arrogant and mean person who only cared about being famous during her time in LAIX. However, her experience of losing followers every day made her reflect on her errors and this, with the support of Jandino, taught her to care more about people, allowing her to evolve into a much more caring, humble and kind girl. Even when at FUNDOM everyone refused to believe that she had truly changed, this didn't stop Carmín from backing down and taking matters into her own hands to prove them wrong. You should really applaud her for that. Now she is officially a member of FUNDOM, with a new channel, very different from her former one, #JustCarmín.

So let me be very clear. This series is NOT Soy Luna and does not intend to copy styles from other sitcoms or music videos. The songs and dancing choreographies are really impressive, the plot is 100% original and the actors are quite professional in their performances. I really hope the series gets a Season 3 at any time.
