I feel like Avery is going to end up saving Swamp Thing as he's indebted to him for saving his life. He was definitely tempted by Jason's proposition of having his name known. After all, he's the kind of character who wants to be known. But he doesn't seem like the type of villain Jason is. He may have some sort of crisis with himself on what to do, return the favor for being saved by Swamp Thing by saving him or give in to his desires. Probably not as he's still an antagonist but you never know.
