Ok, so i know that ever single person here will have there own thoughts on the ending of the movie (Trollhunters: Rise of the titans). But hold on before you go running and screaming that it under mines ever thing the trollhunters, below and wizards set up. Its not ruined it as everything that happened still happened just Jim and the audience are the only ones that know. So when the next series come out and it will. We can follow along with it and relive all the experience's of the last 3 shows. We can watch him not only save everyone from this movie but everyone from all 3 shows. Like. Morgana, Draal, Angor Rot, Nomura, Vendel and Merlin. I believe that Jim still holds the amulet (even tho it wasn't shown) if this is correct then he could play a more secretly role in the next series. Bringing together people earlier that in the first time round. There is also another theory that the amulet knows that Jim came back and has all his memories that is why the amulet chose another because then there will be 2 trollhunters. Just think about how many diffrent story lines could come from this. Whilst Toby is training to be a trollhunter, Jim could be resurrecting Merlin along side Douxie. Or Jim could accidently hold the sword of daylight and it would stay on him as he is still the trollhunter, this could then create an spirling plot point for the rest of them not knowing what's going on. Or watch as Jim jumps around Toby as he is trying to set up defences for the Titans that will come again. And maybe they will be able to save the heart stone so they don't have to move away. There is just too many roads that this new series could create that I will fight tooth and nail to protest this new series to be green lighted. Just don't forget that a show is only as good as its last twist. Don't let this jump of faith from the director fall flat.
