No Tomorrow (2016–2017)

Funny and refreshing

Warning: Spoilers
Stumbled across this on Netflix and it's the most original, funny and refreshing show I've seen in ages. I honestly can't remember the last time I watched a sitcom that made me laugh.... out loud... It's a little dumb at times, unless most sitcoms these days this show isn't just flat out stupid. I loved the premise, the chemistry between Evie and Xavier... the dry humor in all of the characters. I watched all 13 episodes and can't find the epilogue anywhere, it's not on Netflix, so will have to accept being left hanging. I think this show is just a victim of cord cutting, if it'd had better marketing and availability to watch it across various platforms I think it would have caught on. It's very frustrating to get invested in characters when series after series gets canceled without any forethought into the viewer. I think No Tomorrow could easily have been a one or two part mini series, they don't all need to run for 8 or 10 seasons. I hope producers will start planning seasons that stand on their own instead of leaving viewers high and dry with no ending or one that's poorly thrown together. Regardless, I loved No Tomorrow and think I'll be making my own Apocolyst.
