Being stationed overseas meant we watched the AFN let us watch, and this wasn't one of the shows.
When Peacock channel came out, I started watching it and can't get enough of it!
Carmen and her complete and utter disrespect for her parents makes me a little nuts. Max being ignored so much by the family because of Carmen and her daily (hourly) drama means the parents have to focus entirely too much on her and very little on Max. Angie constantly undermining George in front of the kids is definitely no bueno.
But this is a funny show. A really funny show.
I really like the byplay of George and Benny. The love/hate thing they have going on is hilarious, but also touching when they come together to talk about things from the past and Benny lets him know she actually does love him and is proud of him. She's also quick to point out to him she's never been the kind of parent who coddled her child. The show about the earthquake is probably the best example of this.
I'm glad I found this show recently and have completely enjoyed watching this show.
