SUPERIOR SPAGHETTI-WESTERN AT THE TAIL-END OF THE CYCLE...BEAUTIFULLY FILMED & ULTRA-STYLISH
27 August 2021
The One Flaw that Everyone Points to...The Music Songs

Granted when Viewed Today they Feel Annoying, Over-Used, and Extremely Dated.

Even Though the Style is somewhat Operatic, but Still Undeniably Intrusive and Grating to Modern Sensibilities.

Certainly European and in a Form that Doesn't Translate Well Across the Pond.

Most Classic Spaghetti-Westerns have a Unique and Stand-Out Musical Score and some are Legendary, but Instrumental and Not Vocalized Descriptions of the Story.

That Said, the Bulk of the Film is Poetic, Mythic, and Picturesque with a lot of Slow-Mo Violence and Close-Up Portraits of the Characters.

This One has a Good Story of Brother Against Brother, Father Against Son, and the Birth of a Child that Borders on the Religious.

It's a Good-Watch and Came at the Very End of the Cycle.

It Put an Exclamation Point on the Genre and is Respected by Fans with its Fantastic Imagery and Brutal Conflicts.

If You can Get-By the Songs, and there is much to Get-By, the Film will most Likely be an Entertainment for those that Love the Genre.

Others Probably Not.
