A fresh take on Hunter S. Thompson's extraordinary life that separates itself from fear and loathing in Las Vegas in the best way possible. Jay Bulger could not have mastered the role of Hunter any better and I enjoyed his less but still quite animated version much better than F&L in Las Vegas. This movie grabs your attention from the start while also proving comic relief throughout and tugging at the heart strings of the true American.
