. . . it's likely that the images of Tree People presented here may have caused him to drop his whole project in disgust. FLOWERS AND TREES is to J. R.'s Ents as dry rot is to the base of a giant redwood tree: not good. About the only conceivable market for mindless pulp like this is the Wicked Witch cohort out to lure innocent children into their Evil Forests by giving them a false sense of benign banality.
