THE APOCALYPSE is about a salvage team led by Sandra Bernhard (!), attempting to acquire the cargo from a derelict spaceship.
Unfortunately, Bernhard's crew is mostly made up of psychopathic criminals. Shockingly, they betray her, kill people, and take over the mission.

Once aboard the craft, these space pirates learn that a crew member reprogrammed the ship's computer, basically, turning it into a nuclear bomb! Headed for Earth! Can Space Sandra save the world?
Granted, the budget for this movie is extremely low, and the "acting" ranges from mediocre to driftwood level. However, on the positive side, the story isn't bad and most of the annoying characters wind up dead!
