The Kingdom (2021–2023)
10/10

Warning: Spoilers
The concept and the idea are good but the final execution is really, really bad: The script and the characters are straight out of a mexican cheap telenovela or a cheesy soap opera, production-wise is okay and the build up of the scenes are somewhat consistent until it fells flat on it face. Like having a "edgy party with drugs and guns" full of... rich and well groomed kids? A russian roulette where there's a dude behind the player not worried about the bullet getting to through this dude and hitting him? Yeah, that's not convincing at all.

Some good acting (Furriel and Dupláa) but most of them are bad. Except for Chino Darín's one, because he isn't even acting. He moves around the sets, putting weird faces and trying to sound convincing.

How to spoil a good story and a good concept, a masterclass.

Why 10 stars, though? Oh yes, that's only to annoy conservatives.
