Incredibly touching true story of a German soldier sent to a POW camp in England, who then goes onto achieve great success as the goalkeeper for Manchester City.
David Kross does an excellent job, and is hugely likeable as the quiet keeper. His love interest is played by Freya Mavor who is great too.
Trautmann's life contains joy and tragedy, and this film captures them both very well. A well made film and a wonderful performance from David Kross.
