Deadly dull with tinny sound and a boring plotline, this is not nearly as good as "The Andromeda Strain". It is painful to watch, a science fiction drama about the possibility of germ warfare accidentally released, cresting something that 40 years later would be known as a pandemic. It's a lot of pointless conversation with mediocre acting accompanying it, not helped by the tedious pacing. Veteran stage and screen actor Ralph Meeker has the entire film on his shoulders and that's not a difficult task to maintain with the poor supporting performances that is often headache inducing with the nonsense that most of the characters are talking about when they cannot think of anything plot involve to say which is often. It will take a lot of patience to make it through this one.
