Beautiful and well crafted. Quality.

I touches on many topics but it seems Ruth and Katie's bond and Ruth's integrity is the main force. I dont think the reveal of the truth of Ruth's crime would change her integrity one way or another, but i think it is done more so as to show the true depth of her relate to Katie and her moral compass.

A darker series would portray the adopted parents less sympathetically and more like psychos - Katie's 'father' speech to Ruth is entirely psychopathic - self interestedly harmful and dehumanising to both Ruth and Katie, under cover of parental concern.

It seems Ruth may be in many ways younger than Katie at this point, she gave all for her. When they finally reunite its like all the years are finally repaid for both of them.

There could be more chapters to the series. I wish they were made.
