Leota Lane, Phyllis Crane, and Rita Flynn are three hopefuls new to Hollywood. They find the going a lot tougher than they expected, until Eddie Nugent shows up with a script for an old-time melodrama.

Clearly director Roscoe Arbuckle is uncertain of how to pace comedies during the sound era, and a lot of the two reels is used in establishing character. It's clear that with a script co-written by James Gleason, that there's a lot of possibility in the series idea, but the viewing was not helped by a wonky sound track.
