They were made fun of just like everyone else, but it was all in good fun and they all loved being on the show. His celebrity interviews were the exact opposite of all other entertainment shows asking cookie cutter boring questions. Howard would ask them wild things to test their limits and sense of humor. Put them on the spot and occasionally make them uncomfortable. You would learn way more about the person with this style interview and was more entertaining by a massive degree.
