G.I. Blues (1960)

The story and dialogue are of the usual Elvis variety...picked up from the corner of boring and stupid...but there are more songs than usual for an Elvis flic and if only a few of them are good (the rousing finale and "Frankfort Special" being my faves) at least you're distracted from that lame ass screenplay. And, of course, you have the added pleasure of looking at Juliet Prowse's luscious, late Eisenhower era bod in those two sexy dance numbers. Give it a solid C. PS...The face of the baby Elvis serenades bears an eerie resemblance to Col Tom Parker.
