The build up to this final episode had me on edge. Having not read the novel, I had so much trepidation as to what would happen.
It was tense, moving, beautiful - had me wracked with sobs at one point. So very beautifully filmed, acted, edited, directed, with the music and cinematography adding so much to the tension and tragedy, and finally, hopefulness.
I will be honest that this was not an easy series altogether. Still living in the midst of this pandemic, the initial episodes filled me with so much anxiety, I had to stop and watch a couple of comedies before I got back to this. But I'm glad I did. The journey to this final hour was well worth it. Brava/Bravo to all involved.
