An entertaining but slightly repetitive documentary
4 March 2022
Fairly fun documentary on a film that never came to light, but it does get repetitive after about an hour or so, and it's very one-note (lots of interviews where it's like "we wanted to do this! But then because of that, we couldn't").

Thankfully some of the interviews are very engaging. Honestly, Smith's fun to listen to, and while sometimes he's annoying, I didn't think he was here. Also Jon Peters is a real character, even before he takes a phone call during the interview (always funny when that awkwardly interrupts an interview in a documentary).

Also it's a slight shame that Nic Cage wasn't interviewed- he only appears here in some archive footage, but at least some of that footage is fairly fun/interesting.
