This was a fun episode. I was very angry nobody in writing/production realized Croatia was not an independent country in 1960, but other than that, I think it was fun. As always, Suzie was great, but for me Rose making Midge act was the highlight of it.
But...are we supposed to root for Midge? I found her horrible. She complains about the job Suzie got her, and refused to do it. She then finds a huge thing with Kenneday and she did not tell Suzie. She also puts her audience to cry. Sjhe does not care about her job affecting her family. And the act Rose copied? She said some horrible things about her fiamily there. But the worst part was Suzie telling those goons about Mei being pregnant, when Joel especifically told her not to tell anyone.
Midge is awful at keeping her mouth shut. We knew it since he put Shy Baldwin in danger by joking about his sexuality, but at least that was for a gig. Telling those two in Suzie's office had not even the hint of an excuse. I think she is unlikable.
