I was having such a lovely time watching this fantasy fun drama when reality hit me like a cow carcass on a vegans plate. The protagonist to show her naïveté orders not one but two bowls of shark fin soup...how absolutely upsetting and disappointing I had to turn it if immediately . This show is in a bubble of unreality and clearly it's writers have no idea how upsetting this particular food delicacy is to anyone with love of the environment . Shark fin harvesting is the cruelest thing that can be done to Creatures that iare essential part of the oceans ecosystem . I was loving this show
But now I urge anyone with a heart and a brain to ban it and frankly Netflix should be ashamed too.
