Other reviewers trashed Season 2. I preferred it to Season 1, which as others have written, is similar to The Good Place, but not as good. Season 2 is clever and funny. For another comparison, it reminds me of Disenchantment, in terms of style more than content. The same cast playing different characters in each season, based on different books by the same author, is a novel approach (not just the Cliff Notes.) Very nice. Seeing Daniel in a castle is the most similar scene I've seen him in to Harry Potter so far.
