Implausible, cliched, and everything else Law and Orders of every flavor have been, at least since the mid-90s. However, it's mostly entertaining. There's less role-playing of the "issues of the day", and more action. I was never much of an SVU fan, but I do like the grizzled veteran Stabler is this one.
