From the moment Mini started calling Alo "Farmboy" in an endearing voice from the beginning I could tell she had somewhat of a thing for him. Their personalities can be pretty different aside from the partying, maybe that's what held them back but it's beautiful to see them come together, fall in love, and have a baby, we can assume they live together in the house Alo started building for them. Franky meets her Mother after being told she's dead from her sister(whom she also meets for the first time), when they meet each other Franky finds out that her mother is an artist and even draws similarly in some respects as well, this is a beautiful conclusion for Franky and I can only imagine where they'll go from here, maybe she'll stay in the area for a while and figure things out while she spends time with her Mother for the first time since 8, or maybe they fight and she still figures things out, spends time with Alo, Liv, and Mini who are staying in Bristol and then she moves. It's hard to say how Rich's life will turn out, something tells me he was turning into a bit of indie rocker in this season, from the way he dresses and the show he played with his and Alo's band at David Blood's house... it could be safe to assume when he goes off to college that he meets new people to be in a band with, and since he was put away for a while there's probably counseling waiting wherever he goes. Grace is dead and still lives in on the characters' hearts while David Blood probably is still in counseling and is going to take a principal position at another school and move away to do so. But where do Liv and Franky go after some time? It's hard to tell but maybe Franky keeps doing art, like her mother, starves for it... maybe Liv finds something she actually likes to do, becomes a mediator or caregiver or something considering she was at least an aggressive one in this generation, or maybe she just lives a normal life. Either way, this generation has been full of ups and downs, lots of blands or cliches, but the risks taken here is what I can appreciate above all else. There were so many iconic moments, and even went deeper into the forte of Skins' raw ambiance that sheds so vividly even in this generation at times. And for me I feel more of personal connection to this generation, because it was put out around the years I got out of high school and went to college, I would even say I relate to the character arcs at times more in this gen as well, but its also just more fitting for its time and more realistic. It's a mixed bag but totally worth the watch for this brilliant closer, and maybe my personal favorite finale of the series so far. They ended up right back in the pool(or in water metaphorically) where the writers introduced us to this gen in the trailer for season 5.
