The Handmaid's Tale (2017–2025)

Incredible acting and give it time

Warning: Spoilers
I've been watching season 1-4 in a few weeks time and when June met her husband Luke on the boat again after years of oppression, when she almost completely collapsed and mumbled that she was sorry about not being able to save Hannah, my heart litteraly broke into pieces.

When she was sleeping in the dorm and told the viewer about how they learned to whisper and lipread, once she started to mention the names of her friends together with the beautifully composed Ruins of the memorial from Adam Taylor, my heart broke.

I really felt hate when thinking about Serena and Fred and especially when thinking about Aunt Lydia... My god almost forgot these are actors.

Elisabeth Moss (June) is one of those few actresses that can project true feelings onto the screen and which makes that you geniunly care deeply for her and what happens with her.

Madeline Brewer(Jeanine) also succeeded in that for me.

This is without any doubt, for me, the best and most mentally devastating series i've ever seen and probably will see in my life time.

I am glad I had the opportunity to watch it and follow the story of brave June.

For the record, I am a 41 years old white straight male.
