This story has gone so far off the rails. It's nowhere near a natural evolution. Everyone just yells all the time. The 21st century lexicon in 1960 doesn't work. I'm just trying to finish the damn season. There's no way the last scene would have happened in real life; this season is the fever dream of a bunch of clueless millennial writers.
What is the point of Mei? What is the point of the magician? Who is Mike? Hell, why is Joel still in all of this and who the hell cares about his mother and father? There's so many story lines and so much yelling and so much cussing that would have never happened in 1960; I'm glad I get free shipping with Amazon Prime because I sure as heck wouldn't pay a premium service for this dreck.
