Elaine is all excited because she has chosen to do volunteer work, visiting an old person. Whatever their motivation, Jerry and George decide to get into the act. They have two old men, both of whom a in their faces. One is openly hostile to Jerry, furious that he is there. George is so offensive to his guy because he refuses to say the possibility of death depresses him. The guy has finally had enough. Elaine's elderly woman has a goiter the size of a football (which we never see, thank God). She is fascinating, but Elaine can't look at her. The other subplot involves Kramer and Newman deciding to make a fortune selling old records. The guy at the record store is great.
