How did they make George Burns unfunny??!

Warning: Spoilers
This film hasn't aged well and it wasn't great in its time. Gracie Allen had 1 of the 2 bits I found amusing (teaching the wannabe-musician to make love). Her voice was entertainment in itself. Frank Forest was a revelation with his voice - wish he had done more movies.

On the down side, Jack Benny headlines but he was always hit or miss - and mostly miss in my book. True in this film also, though he had the funniest line (saying to an overnight woman: "Come over her, both of you"! - OK, might not be exactly acceptable nowadays). The worst thing about the movie was George Allen - I don't recall him even attempting a joke - always deferring/playing straight man to Gracie. Sheer waste of talent. He went on the next 60-70 years being hilarious.
