Fairly well-written Whodunit though there are enough clues early on via 'raised eyebrows' as to the identity of the villain. The real problem with this is the casting. No way is the actress who plays Karen Pirie a convincing police officer. Nursery school teacher perhaps. And her acting is diabolical. And yet we're promised a second series. She gives long pauses and no I won't blame that on the scriptwriter. She behaves like no police officer would. Lying on the floor for inspiration. Yes perhaps a nursery school teacher would. And her number two joins in. Really? In fact his casting is pretty terrible too. Sigh...
