The movie is saved by her acting and for the unexpected end of Gerard Depardieu's appearance, really extraordinary which gives the final - somewhat funny, tone - as a resumé to the whole story.
Some nice scenes come along, in the French country-side, where heroine has some crisis of revolt against social conventions in-front of her friends, and in some bars and cafés of Paris.
