This is exactly the kind of film that gives found footage a bad name, and why people dislike the genre. So much shaky cam, and nothing really actually happens. It's boring, and decends into a whole screaming, and a plot that makes absolutely no sense.
What dark forces? Where?
So the set up isn't a bad one, 3 friends go out camping in the woods, and they get some tales of local legends. Which if the film followed through with this, and actually tried to have some of this on camera then it could have worked as a film. But you see absolutely nothing.
You see people get dragged away off camera, some camera glitching, and that's really it. Which makes it dull.
