Hm... it's quite funny and enjoyable, but probably unintentionally...

There's really bad writing, lots of plot conveniences and constant exposition dumps which just make you groan. The ending seemed like they were going to make a bold, surprisingly good choice for one of these cash grab movies, but then they immediately turn around and go the safe route, and I just rolled my eyes by that point, I should've known better than to get my hopes up! Seriously, there are an unforgivable amount of clichés and overused tropes in this, the most egregious of these probably being the 'useless female love interest with nothing to do.'

The CGI is probably the funniest thing about the movie. The water looks like it came straight out of a video game, and an old one at that. The fight scenes are just ridiculous overwhelming noise with really bad animation, and I've seen more convincing green screens in peoples' low budget YouTube videos.

There are a few genuinely good things in the film though. A few of the plot points are decent, even if we've seen them before, some of the settings were pretty to look at, and a couple of the characters are enjoyable enough to spend time with. Overall, it's a pretty fun way to spend 2 hours, but only if you want a laugh, not if you want a really 'good' movie to watch.
