Let me start by posting that I had high hopes for this movie. They had other movies featuring the same characters. A Christmas story 2, My summer story with Charles Grodin. Those movies were stinkers, and so is this one. The acting was mediocre at best. The storyline was odd. It lacks the charm of the original movie. I appreciate the fact that they used the house and some of the main characters from the original movie but it just did not come together. I found Ralph Parker to be very self-centered and annoying. The relationship with his wife and children was coming off as very forced. I don't know, you decide for yourself.
