A reluctant new king Malachy goes back to his realm (a couple of villages and a castle it seems) and with the help of a wizard, two brothers and four kung fu fighting (fast as lightning) Chinese ladies restores his kingdom from the weight of a curse of a group of witches led by the villainous Red Queen. It sounds pretty awesome but except for the picturesque Chinese locations and good costumery it is mainly dull and routine. Malachy is played blandly by Luke Goss (a low-rent Jason Statham). In fact none of the cast (several of whom need acting lessons) stand out apart from Sarah Douglas as The Red Queen who commands the movie when she is onscreen. There are lots of fighting scenes but they are poorly choreographed and badly shot. Rapid cuts rarely equate to excitement.
