The Bridge (II) (2021– )
6/10
Obviously the whole thing is rigged

Warning: Spoilers
This review is mostly for the first season:

Over the years I've watched so many different types of reality game shows but I've never seen one as obviously rigged as this one. It's so blindingly obvious that it hurts.

Basically our team is supposed to build a 800 feet bridge to get to an island in order to receive a monetary reward in 20 days. In order to be successful, the team is supposed to build an average of 40 feet per day. Well, by the end of 16th day, they had built only 400 feet of bridge and now they had only 4 days to build the remaining 400 feet. Not only that but on day 17th, the whole thing snaps in half so now they have to repair the snapped bridge in addition to build the remaining 50% of the bridge in 3 days.

What happens at the end? Yep, you guessed it right. They finish the bridge literally in the last hour. They were able to build as much bridge in the last 3 days as they were able to build in the first 17 days plus repair the half of the bridge that snapped off.

This is what the cameras show you but obviously that's not what happened in reality. It's blindingly obvious that the show's producers didn't want to show a team failing in their first season so they just went ahead and built the whole thing behind the scenes.

You are not going to convince me that a team that can build 400 feet of bridge in 17 days can build another 400 feet in 3 days in addition to fixing the parts that broke and snapped the day before. It's an insult to viewers' intelligence.
