Pros like these make all the difference
7 December 2022
Two rival ex-presidents forced to work together to expose an NSA cover-up.

"My Fellow Americans" pulls no punches in lambasting D. C. as Jack Lemmon and James Garner bicker back and forth; just one cheap shot after another, some land and others do not. It's an on-the-road farce and I feel like they were going for "Midnight Run" in tone and sense of humor (even down to a similar score). Does it come close?

Nah.

*But* Lemmon and Garner are in peak form and it is fun watching them work. There's talent among the supporting cast as well. It's a lightweight comedy with haphazard laughs but it's well worth a look.
