It's an excellent show, but with 2-3 more episodes would have been much better. The characters, generally speaking, were well-drawn and developed; in particular, Miriam is (IMO) a better-done Fenris, with a more developed inner life, and the rest of her crew are fun characters who contribute to the team vibe Bioware are so good at. The pacing mostly hurts the show's romantic relationships. While the actual core *plot* is pretty good and never suffers from bloat.
The animation also deserves a special shoutout, because DA:Absolution did the impossible by making magic combat look fun, flashy, and realistically useful.
