Elizabeth has lost her mind completely
I didn't get why she kills the only version of Booker who didn't become Comstock in the original. I don't understand why she does the same here. My guess would be that throughout the game she slowly descends into madness. It is sad but fascinating at the same time to observe this young, promising woman become a maniac.
That makes Elizabeth an intersting character but not a relatable one. So when I had to play for her I lacked any motivation to get her through the hurdle. And boy, I needed it. Gameplay isn't fun anymore, lads. Its stealth now where you duck, cover and hope for an innattentive AI, cause if you're spotted you're dead. Even 3 headshots from a revolver won't kill a regular enemy. When you die you start all over again from the begining of a location with enemies respawned while you watch a cutscene. No saves no nothin.
Uncomfortable gameplay only works with a good reason to fight for. Which there ain't.
