First off I waited to the dvd for The Grinch because I already enjoyed the original Grinch and the live action Grinch movie I saw twice in theaters.
The Grinch is a CGI retelling Of the Dr. Seuss How The Grinch Stole Christmas. The Grinch is voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch and to his credit he manages to deliver a good performance and made a voice that helps makes the Grinch the Grinch.
The animation is fantastic which helps make the movie watchable and the Whos look like they were taking from the book to give them a more realistic look.
However they really ruined the classic "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" and did a butcher rap song that really destroyed the song and makes you want to turn the sound off. Shame on you for doing so.
I give The Grinch an 7 out of 10.
