Low budget for a certain audience
14 January 2023
This film is relatively a lower budget independent film where it doesn't have boundaries. Described as a horror film, the horror aspect really which comes into play about half way into the film featuring special effects with green ghosts and a bizarre demon type creature coming back from the dead.

The plot is straightforward. Featuring an all women cast who get together to have a slumber party then one character gets spiritual and demon possessed and becomes the villain (we notice from the beginning that girl would somehow turn).

Featuring a lot of skin, essentially all the actresses do undress (which is purposely a distraction for the audience to swaying them into liking the film more, considering it isn't exactly good).

Overall the film isn't meant to be serious and the characters are self aware of the type of film this was meant to be.

Filmed in a documentary style way, where the characters speak to the camera (fourth wall breaking?) several times. Did not find anything particularly funny. Although the theme song used in the beginning intro and outro is relatively catchy and the type of simple song to get stuck in someone's head.

The dialogue is bland and most the characters aren't memorable and are simply just there. Haley Madison (Courtney) and Alyss Winkler (Stoya) are the clear standouts. The end finale was quite nicely done.

Predictable, cheesy acting, low special effects but there is a certain enough charm to watch for what it's intended in being. Certainly for a specific audience.
