Warning: Spoilers
It seems that the character of Frasier has been steadily deteriorating through the seasons. He started as a flawed character - snobby, pompous, sometimes clueless, but still basically a good person. He would sometimes go too far, but usually quickly realize his mistakes and correct them or at least apologize for them. But as the seasons have gone by, he was made into an increasingly unlikable person - his flaws have increased in size greatly and he has increasingly been acting as if he never does anything wrong.

Case in point is this episode. Not only is Frasier clearly acting wrong chasing other women behind his girlfriend's back, but ultimately he sees nothing wrong with his behavior. After everything is over, he is not sorry because he did something wrong, he is only sorry because things didn't work out for him in the end, not caring at all about other people.

I really don't understand why the writers took this approach, as Frasier is more and more becoming not just an unlikable character, but is acting like a real psychopath.
