I knew better than to expect Hitchcock but this isn't bad. Not at all. In fact the plot takes several interesting and suspenseful twists isn't completely believable, but, it isn't as bad as most.
The one major flaw was in casting. Gwyneth Paltrow is miscast and awful in the role, but then she always is.
Michael Douglas is always a good villian. He probably does the best job of the three.
Viggo Mortgensen is very attractive and does and adequate job as the loveer who is too attractive for Gwyneth Paltrow. Normally I cannot sit through a movie that has scenes that depict violence against women but since it is only Paltrow,I was able to watch.
