Despite mixed reviews, "Volunteers" is considered a fun movie worth watching for fans of 80s comedy and actors Tom Hanks and John Candy. I especially enjoy Tom Hanks' movies and like seeing him on screen. Although I have watched everything he has ever done, it took me a while to get around to watching this film. I looked everywhere to find it, and ended up finding a DVD to purchase, as well as other movies that were no longer available online. I had to buy some of them, but this was the hardest one to find.
You will have a good time watching this movie, it's a light comedy and I love seeing Tom Hanks' character, as he's different in this film, as well as John Candy's character going crazy. Of course, not to mention that this was the movie that began the romance between Hanks and Rita Wilson. It wasn't the first time they worked together, but it's cool to see."
