After a personal crisis, he turns his life around and quits boxing and marries his second wife that he is still married to. And becomes a preacher. That is an answer to his mother's prayers. But after financial hardships, he reluctantly returns with the reluctant agreement with his wife.
He also sells grills and also in the setting his family up for life. Just really a great movie. No cursing nor that much violence except for the boxing matches. Go see it.
