Delicate Chinese road movie "on foot", with a gorgeous cinematography, about a father and a son, who, while working as postmen in Hunan province, traveling for 115 Km, learn about each other and build their relationship in a much deeper level. The father teaches more than the root to his son, as he feels the duty of his labour and knows each villager's specific concerns and idiosyncrasy. The boy has a true rite of passage during the trip, as he is a grown man now. Subtly, the movie also criticizes some social and infrastructure problems in China, besides depicting the culture of minority ethnic group Dong.
