If you have an interest in true crime stories skip this and watch something else.
The host is a D class actress that I had never heard of but Googled and saw she was in a teen drama many years ago and now calls herself an activist. (What many irrelevant actresses do these days). She's very unlikeable and doesn't come across as sincere. She's just there for the paycheck. Curious, I found her Twitter and it's pretty much the usual Hollywood crazy rants which isolates many people who don't agree with her. She just spews hate and attacks people, but doesn't do anything to make the world a better place. If you don't agree with her you are "evil" and she will block you. I'll never understand how she was given the job to host. It's never a good idea when your host hates half the population.
The stories are pretty much one sided, always the defendants side but very little, if anything, from the victims friends or family.
Some of the same stories are told on other true crime series which present a more fair and well rounded coverage of the case which includes both sides. There is no agenda like Miss Burton presents.
I don't know how this show lasted so long. She must have a family member or a friend at this network.
