A film that has no idea what it is
18 June 2023
So some best friends and brothers from the war gather together for drinks. Torture, murder and supernatural goings on suddenly come out of the woodwork. But don't worry, none of it is horrifying.

The story could have been good except there were no answers. There was no reason for the story to exist. Even by the last frame we had no clue what had really happened or why. So don't expect a story you can get your teeth into.

The acting is wooden at times, very poor other times and with the odd flash of inspiration, not bad. But overall it's obvious these actors are either woefully inexperienced, or abysmally directed.

Given the one-location filming and the static cast, this would probably make a fabulous play. In fact had it been a play and I'd watched it on stage I think I might have enjoyed it. But as a film it fails miserably.
