This show used to air every summer in Norway and we all gathered around the television to watch it, young and old. As a child I had no idea why the older generation complained about the quality of this show, from my point of view it was absolutely amazing! Now that I'm old and gray I kinda get where my parents were coming from. The acting is questionable and the plots for each episode is about as cheesy and cliché as it gets.. But god help me I love it! It reminds me of simpler times.. And 20+ years later I still have a crush on Cory!
No it's not a masterpiece but it doesn't need to be. It serves as a reminder of what used to be, life sucks but shows like this makes it a little less sucky.
