I thought Crystal Skull would be the worst one, but DoD is maybe as bad just in different ways.
First issue is that it often has an uncanny valley, fake look to it throughout the movie, with the characters (well publicized "de-aging" used for Harrison Ford but not just him), the backgrounds, and overuse of color filters. It is also way too heavy on action scenes. They also seemed to have forgotten to alter the voice to match the de-aging, so that feels off as well.
Keep in mind Disney is really behind this series now. They easily have the money and resources but they also have had an obsession with CGI dominated relentless action fantasy movies for the past 15 years (see Marvel and Star Wars, among others) and they brought that to Indiana Jones with DoD, less so with Crystal Skull.
I have a lot of respect for Harrison Ford and loved the original 3 Indiana Jones films, especially the 1st and 3rd, but it's time for a new series (or several), not reboot, in this alt-history, action-adventure style, and made by a different company besides Disney. I suspect Disney will keep milking this IP for years though with Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the new Indiana Jones (Helena Shaw).
